Frequently asked questions
Most frequent questions and answers
How did this acquisition transpire?
You know, it just made sense. We’ve enjoyed a great, long working relationship with Paul Schumacher and Linda Aerni (Megavision’s long-time owners) for the past 15+ years, as we’ve happily collaborated with them as needed in order to better serve mutual customers. A potential acquisition has been in the works for a short time now with Linda ready to retire and Paul focusing on his other businesses, and both parties are very pleased with the agreement to pull Megavision’s Internet business into Applied Connective.
As our company president Ed Knott has said:
“This acquisition makes a lot of sense from a product and services standpoint and also aligns with our business expansion ambitions. Megavision’s fixed wireless internet and business email hosting services align well with our current offerings and position us to provide additional services to the existing customer base. Both parties are thrilled with the arrangement, and I want to thank Paul and Linda and their crew for being excellent to work with over the years as well as throughout this transition.”
But enough about us . . .
