When you use a browser, like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc., some website info is saved in its cache & cookies to speed up your browsing experience. As browsers push updates, your cached memory can lock up, which can prevent websites from loading, displaying, or functioning properly.
Users often assume this is a network issue, but clearing the cache will frequently iron out the problem (and can also improve security & speeds).
There’s no reason to overdo it, but if a site isn’t working properly or your browser or device seem to be lagging, definitely try clearing your cache. You can find easy instructions for each browser by simply googling: How to clear cache in [Chrome].
